Ich persönlich habe mit deiner als "billig-Puzzle" beschriebenen Lösung bisher immer gute Ergebnisse erreicht.

Dein Bild in den Vorschlägen zum Bild des Monats ist wunderschön. Ist auch einfach ein schöner Bulldog.
Ins Allgäu muss ich mit meinem Dieselross auch unbedingt mal.
